MEIKTILA, Burma – At least ten people were killed and several mosques have been destroyed in a new bout of sectarian violence between Buddhists and Muslims in central Burma.

A Gift of Life: Water for Gaza
The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa, in conjunction with the Al Aqsa Foundation of South Africa and Sawa’ed Association (Gaza), aims to establish a water filtration plant east of Gaza City.
The water station will be a source of clean drinking water for hospitals, schools ant 100 000 people.
MJC’s PEP on Track
In 2002 the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) launched a Poverty Eradication Project subsequent to the call from former President Thabo Mbeki to the National Religious Forum to “help government push back the frontiers of Poverty”. The objective of this ingenuity is to create an enabling environment for Sustainable Human Development simultaneously increasing economic activity in the marginalized and impoverished communities.
